Ultimate Resource for Improving Your Blog’s Search Engine Rankings

World Wide Web BrowserThe great thing about most blogs is that they come optimized for search engines out of the box. They naturally attract search engine traffic. Within 5-10 days of setting up your blog, you should be getting some hits from search engines (even if its a really small number, its still something).

The problem these days however is that a lot of wrong information is being circulated which is hurting a lot of blog’s rankings.

What to do When Digg Wreaks Havoc on Your Blog With a Traffic Surge?

Digg - Social Bookmarking WebsiteMorning everyone. Well last night one of my other websites hit yet another Reddit & Digg front page. Result? Chaos (and a couple of bucks too). I go to sleep last night with a grin on my face as I look at my #4 spot on the Reddit home page.

Build a bigger hype from the current one your getting. Turn profit into more profit.

Still not sure what the hell I’m talking about? Let’s take an example. Apple is ridiculously good at hyping its own hype. Take the iPhone for instance, it burned a fiery hell across the internet blogs and now, to hype the hype, a rumor has been started about a iPhone Nano. Because of this, their shares reached an all-time high this past week. That’s how its done.

Page Views No Longer Matter - Visit Length Becomes New Favorite

Nielsen/NetRatingsThe longtime industry standard for ranking web pages has been demolished. Nielsen/NetRatings is a leading online measurement service and this Tuesday they announced plans to scrap page views, making visit length on each page the more important factor. Online video and other new technologies are making page views obsolete so now the time spent per page is what matters.

Although Nielsen already measures average time spent and average number of sessions per visitor for each site, it will start reporting total time spent and sessions for all visitors to give advertisers and investors a better picture of what sites are really popular.

Ringside BattleSince traffic is the way in which Bloggers and website publishers turn a profit and ultimately put money in their pockets. Our goal at CashBulge.com is to show you how to obtain that traffic. So you might ask again, what produces traffic?

Content produces traffic.
