You Cubez - Innovative and Creative Way to Make Money Through Advertising
So I happened to stumble across this great website via some forums that I browse and I was thoroughly impressed to say the least. You Cubez is an advertising site that let’s people purchase colorful cubez to have a link to their website.
Basically the more you pay, the higher you are up to the top. It’s a brilliant idea that reminds of me of the Million Dollar Homepage except with a cooler spin to it. You can grab a cube for as little as $1 a year (the most expensive cube is $100). For so little, that’s a great value. I however would recommend spending a little bit more to get on the front page ($5-$10) because the front page has a PageRank of 1 and a great Alexa ranking as well.
I think this is a great idea. Honestly, you can either start a website like this with a creative way for people to buy links and get traffic, or you can buy a link space and get more traffic to your own site! It’s basically a win-win.
Hopefully soon, CashBulge will be grabbing a Cube as well. Let me know what you guys think about this idea! Note: $ should actually represent Euros as this is a European currency exchange.

How does this site get traffic? I don’t think I get it.

It doesn’t look that legit, although I may be wrong. 38 of the cubes were purchased by one domain name pagerank10.co.uk (or something close to that)

@Rashid
I see where you’re coming from but I must say that it’s legit. You can purchase more cubes to get a higher percentage of clicks which is what pagerank10 is doing. It’s actually a smart investment.
You can also register an account and you can add ‘value’ to your cube by inviting friends, logging in more often, etc. That’s how it drives traffic (along with promotion).
Cheers!

Not sure this will take off. And it has a PageRank of 1 or 10? 1 isn’t very good at all.

Any update on this? Did this ever gain any popularity?

I went over there and it seems like a lot of cubes were purchased but it also seems like many are for sale by their owners. Not sure though. Its just another million dollar wiki thing. They are a dime a dozen now.
