Motivational Quote from Donny Deutsch
Last night, I was watching The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. In this episode they were exploring the “moment of clarity,” where the guests realized they needed to leave their jobs and pursue what they loved in order to be happy.
Of course the show was only interviewing people who made it big with their new business ideas, they didn’t show the failures. But thats what we are trying to move away from, being afraid to fail.
One thing Donny said about pursuing careers struck me in the heart.
He said: “If your Friday nights and Sunday nights feel different, your doing something wrong.”
I know this sounds “fairy-talish,” and sometimes economic situations instill fear in us and make us compromise our careers, but we should never have to feel the need to dread the next day of work, or life for that matter.
So take this little quote as motivation and start to work towards what you want in life, don’t compromise your your life and career because you are afraid to fail. Take a chance, you might be in for a big surprise
