Hip Hop Abs Baby! Thats all you need. Thats my new thing anyway. I don't like to exercise in front of others, so its me and my tv only.

Where you exercise is really a personal choice. If you like to be around others, than a gym is totally a good choice. But there is also sports too you can do like biking, hiking, rowing, running, etc that don't cost much and give you interaction with others. Or you can be a loner like me at home with Hip Hop Abs -- they do have online forums etc to chit chat with others and to help up the motivation if needed.

As long as your moving your booty I would think its a good thing.

I think it comes down to time and personaility for most. Have a look at your day if you can't find 1 1/2 hrs to go to the gym 3 x per/week your best to sticking to the home training. But, if you need that social interaction to get you going maybe you need the gym??? It may pay to get a personal trainer to come around your house once a week at least to get the week rolling on the exercise front. I just know my last membership I had to transfer.

I have a dumbbell bench and a set of dumbbells that I use to do free weights. This was less than $200!

For aerobics, I run outside.

Although going to a gym would be great, I didn't want to spend the money.

The Gym I go to has many more things for me to do than working out at home can provide. For example, I enjoy playing basketball, swimming and weight training, all of which aren't not accessible to me at home.

Plus I just think it is easier to motivate yourself at a gym with others working out around you than at home. But that's just my personal opinion
