Quick Tips: You’re Readers Are Your Core - Bond With Them

Kicking off a new series here, this will be a collection of important quick tips for enhancing your blog (or website). Enjoy.

Like it or not, its true. Readers are the backbone of your blog (and its traffic). What I like to do is e-mail people who have commented on my blog (not all of them of course) and thank them, maybe even ask some questions.

Why? It gives you and your blog a more personal feel. The problem with most websites and blogs is just that, that they are just websites or blogs. Just words on a page. Become more than just words on a page. Contact your readers, see what they think.

You’re readers are the ones spending time going through your content, cater to them. You should value their opinion and establish a ‘link’.

People will be more inclined to come back to your site, maybe they’ll even spread your link around.
