If you don’t know about I Can Has Cheezburger then you’ve been missing out on all the recent buzz. This website was started all because of a funny ‘lol’ cat picture and exploded since then, netting in over 15 million pageviews per month. I thought it would be interesting (and informative) to go through the sites statistics and details.

The traffic just explodes at one point as you can see from the graph. How long will the site last with the current trend? Hard to tell. But the point is, the creators capitalized on the potential and it worked out for them, beautifully. They post for the most part, every single day, and the content is basically sent to them by people who submit pictures!

They turned a humorous cat picture into an extremely popular humor photo blog that is now making them over 5,000$ per month. Success? Of course.
